Any industrial company knows that bearings are an important part in the operation of almost all machinery and equipment, but when it comes to replacement, it can become difficult. So we have outlined some key factors to ensure you get the right bearing every time.
1. Bearing Code
Bearing manufacturers seem to write secret codes, in fact they are not using these codes to confuse you. The part number tells you the exact specifications of the bearing, because each number in the part number specifies a key feature of the bearing. The inner diameter of the bearing, the cage material and the internal clearance are summarized by simply knowing the part number.
Each manufacturer has its own part numbering system, and although there is some overlap, it is not consistent, so it is crucial to check before choosing different brands. Manufacturers can even use the same suffix to designate different parts, which means that even if they list the same suffix in the part number, they may be referring to different specifications.
If you are not sure which bearing you need based on the part number, our product page will display a convenient table with detailed descriptions of each part, or contact us and we can provide you with a cross reference;Or you can send us your sample we will have a study and produce same one bearings for you .
2. Seals and Shields
There is often confusion between bearings with a single seal or shield and bearings with seals or shield on both sides. For sealed bearings, the part number is embossed on the seal itself, and even if the bearing actually has two seals, it only has the part number of a single seal. When you find the correct part number, first inspect the bearing to confirm the number of seals or shields required, then check the product details before purchasing to ensure that the new bearing has the correct number of seals.
3. Bearing Measurement
Accuracy is critical when measuring bearings, so using a vernier caliper is highly recommended. The dimensions you need are the inside diameter, outside diameter, and width.
If you can't do that it is ok too ,just send us your old sample ,we will study sample and have a detail comments for you;
We can produce different bearings as what you need just contact with us now .
Non-standard bearings in layman's terms, they are bearings that do not meet the dimensions specified by national standards, that is, all bearings whose dimensions are different from those specified by national standards.
Non-standard bearings are mostly used for special equipment and special occasions, and are trial products for newly developed equipment, etc.
MORE BEARINGS can produce customized bearings involves bearing design process, where we determine the size,shape , materials, precision, and lubrication needed for your application.
Custom Bearings Material
MORE BEARINGS offer a variety of materials to meet your needs. Those materials include, but are not limited to:
